SEAMOR MAKO

The Mako is SEAMOR Marine’s newest ROV. With a large open frame design and versatile mounting options, this vehicle can carry a variety of accessories and has the power capacity to run them all at once.
The Mako’s payload (14 kg standard, upgradable to 22.5 kg) allows users to install heavy instrumentation, including multi-beam imaging sonars. Users can easily mount and position accessories without any special tools. The ample space in the accessory bay also improves flow-through, which ensures maximum thruster efficiency, making it easy to fly the Mako no matter the payload.
The Mako comes standard with eight (8) SEAMOR- designed thrusters; four (4) of these are vertical thrusters that provide a more stable flight. The second pair of vertical thrusters offers a failsafe compared to the competition who only offers a single pair. We have arranged the Mako’s four (4) horizontal thrusters to maximize forward thrust.

The 75mm Wire rope cutter RCV75HD is suitable for cutting grades up to 1960N/mm2 and up to 75mm in diameter. Utilising a fully retractable anvil the cutter can be placed over continuous lengths of wire ropes for simplified cutting operations. The cutting cylinder is supplied complete with pressure intensifier from Webtool. This tool is suitable for local or remote operations in sub-sea environments (i.e. on an ROV) and due to its high quality construction requires little or no maintenance throughout its operational life. Replacing the anvil or cutting blade is a simple task and spares kits comprising both components and all seals are available at any time. All spares provided are genuine Webtool components. The tool is supplied with ROV handle and separate cutter/anvil connection hoses.
Workhorse Monitor Direct Reading 1200, 600, 300 kHz ADCP

The MONITOR is Teledyne RD Instruments’ most popular direct-reading Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP). The unit is typically bottom frame-mounted and hard-wired to shore to provide real-time monitoring of coastal currents. The Monitor’s high data accuracy and reliability make it a favorite for deployments in high-volume traffic areas such as ports and harbors, where the data is often integrated into a Vessel Traffic Monitoring System. In fact, the Monitor has been selected for most major port programs undertaken in the United States
Nortek DVL 1000, 4000m rated

The DVL1000 is the world’s smallest survey-grade Doppler Velocity Log. It combines compact design with unprecedented functionality, being able to fly higher in the water column and closer to the seabed than similar equipment. It has a maximum operational depth of 4000 m and is ideally suited for subsea navigation where size and weight are a concern. This 1 MHz Doppler Velocity Log is used by industry leaders in the subsea market because of its high accuracy and state-of-the-art technology.
